Who is the singer?
Hello! My name is Meghan, I am 30 years old and I live in the Utrecht area in the Netherlands. Singing has been an important part of my life since I was 13, and I have been able to participate in many wonderful projects since then. Singing is not only my passion, but especially singing with emotion and depth gives me a lot of meaning. That is why I like to sing with and for you during the special and important moments in your life.
Discography
From the age of 13 to 18, I was active at the music school 't Klooster in Woerden, where I was part of the Kopgroep: a group for talented students. Here I got the great opportunity to take extra lessons and my passion for singing grew.

During my studies as a Life Philosophy Worker (a non-denominational form of pastoral worker), singing was on the back burner for a while. At that time, I was looking for depth in life and I got to know myself much better. Thanks to this study, I discovered that depth is an integral part of my life, which is mainly reflected in my work as a singer.
​
At the end of my studies, I got the great opportunity to sing in The Passion Choir. With this choir I was allowed to participate in special projects, including a performance as a choir member in the television program 'The Passion', which is broadcast annually on the Thursday before Easter in the Netherlands. ​​​​​​​​​I got even more chances to sing again on (larger) stages and noticed how much happiness and joy it brought me. There came a point where I thought: WHY did I ever stop doing this?!
​​Life was never the same again and singing is now an integral part of my life. To be able to combine this with the important thing in the lives of others is of inestimable value to me. So, although singing on large stages is a great experience, I find it very special to contribute to intimate and meaningful moments in the lives of others with singing. It does not only give those moments, but also my own life so much meaning and richness. Singing during funerals, World Light evenings and wedding ceremonies are therefore some of my favorite activities. I feel incredibly grateful that I am allowed to be a singer at such pure and important moments.

I also really enjoy working together in a choir. In July 2024, I was given the opportunity to perform as lead singer in the video clip of the song 'Glory'—an unforgettable experience! Singing together creates something very beautiful, and that always gives me a lot of energy. I also love projects around Christmas time or in musicals; the end result is always fabulous!

Biography
​I have been together with my partner, Ross, for 10 years now and we move quite a bit in the area of ​​Utrecht. We have been living via an anti squat organization for years to save up for a trip we made in 2024/2025. That was a very special experience and it was during this trip that I learned that I want to continue as a singer.
​
I can, of course, really enjoy listening to music (and singing along at the top of my lungs) and my favorite artists include Coldplay, John Mayer, Adele and Rosie Betts. But if you see my 'liked songs' playlist on Spotify, there is actually no way to make sense of my musical taste. It ranges from Disney to Metallica.
​
I am half British on my mother's side and I see Wales as my second home. That is why I can also be booked for English or international assignments! As you may have read, I really enjoy traveling, nature, freedom, discovering cultures and good food. I prefer to be with my loved ones, but when I am alone I read a book, embroider or can be found in the garden with my faithful fur-baby Luca. I also love walking together! I am also teaching myself the piano and ukulele.

In addition to being a singer, I also work for the KUVO foundation in Woerden. This is a foundation that is committed to cultural education in the area surrounding the city and neighboring villages. Cultural education should be available to every child, regardless of origin, age or educational level. As a teenager, I was also able to attend KUVO projects and I am very enthusiastic that I can now offer other children the same experience that I had as a teenager: inspiration to follow your heart and passion. I work there as a coordinator for the secondary and primary school activities.
